Sports Physical Therapy in Lebanon, NJ

Don't Let an Injury End Your Season

Athletes deal with injuries that demand more than generic protocols. Our sports PT gets to the root of what's holding you back, so you can return to training stronger, more durable, and with a plan that actually keeps you there.

Why Athletes Struggle With Traditional Physical Therapy

You're Treated Like Any Other Patient

Generic rehab plans don't account for the demands of your sport. You get the same exercises as someone recovering from routine back pain, and progress stalls well before you're ready to compete.

Insurance Limits What You Can Do

Visit caps and pre-authorization mean your care gets cut off right when momentum is building. You're back to square one before you've had a chance to finish what you started.

You Return Too Soon or Wait Too Long

Without proper return-to-sport testing, you're either rushed back before your body is ready or held back longer than necessary. Either way, your performance and confidence take the hit.

Holly is an incredible therapist - she is a subject matter expert in her field, has a fantastic and upbeat personality, and most importantly, she cares deeply about her patients and helping them overcome physical obstacles. Her new practice in High Bridge is spacious, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

I've seen countless physical therapists over this past year and Mac has been the only one to finally help me. I went in for my first appointment barely walking and left feeling infinitely better and was walking that week. I'm so incredibly grateful. Holly the owner and all the other staff are wonderful, kind, and they go out of their way to help in so many ways. Thank you so much!!!!

I came in with a major knee injury and a sore muscle in my foot that affected the way i dance, and the way that i walked. Dr. Holly first got me out of pain, and then strengthened all of the muscles around it. The knee pain used to come back every few weeks, but it has not come back since i started. My foot always comes and goes, but since i started it has not hurt like it used to and it has got stronger which is important for ballet. I recommend

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions from athletes about sports physical therapy

Do you work with all types of athletes?

Yes. Whether you're a runner, soccer player, weekend warrior, or competitive team sport athlete, we tailor your program to the specific demands of your sport and where you are in your season.

Do I need a referral to get started?

New Jersey's direct access law allows you to begin physical therapy without a referral for up to 30 days or 12 visits. If ongoing treatment is needed beyond that, we'll help coordinate with your physician.

How do you decide when I'm ready to return to sport?

We use return-to-sport testing to make that call, not just how you feel on a given day. Strength symmetry, movement quality, and sport-specific testing all factor into the decision. You'll know exactly where you stand before you step back on the field.

Do you accept insurance?

We're cash-based and out-of-network, which means no visit caps and no insurance-driven restrictions on your care. After each session, we provide a superbill you can submit to your insurer for potential reimbursement.

Can I keep training while I'm in PT?

In most cases, yes, with smart modifications. We're not in the business of shutting athletes down without good reason. We'll protect what needs to heal while keeping you as active as possible throughout the process.

Still have questions?

Let's talk about your sport, your injury, and whether our approach is the right fit for where you are right now.
