Running Physical Therapy in Lebanon, NJ
Run Stronger. Stay on the Road.
Runners come to us when hip, knee, ankle, or foot problems keep interrupting their training — and generic advice hasn't fixed it. We find the root cause of what's breaking down, rebuild it with a runner-specific plan, and get you back on the road with the confidence that it won't keep happening.

Why Runners Keep Hitting the Same Wall With Traditional PT
Your Training Load Is Never Considered
Most PT programs hand runners the same exercises they give everyone else. Your mileage, race goals, and gait mechanics never enter the conversation — and progress stalls long before you're ready to run again.
Visit Caps Cut Your Rehab Short
Insurance-driven limits mean your care ends when the paperwork does, not when you're actually ready to run. You walk out with a partial fix and no real plan for getting back to full mileage.
No One Tests Whether You're Ready to Run
Without a structured return-to-run progression, you're guessing when it's safe to push. Most runners re-injure within weeks of getting back because there was never a real test of whether the underlying issue was resolved.
Why Runners Choose Elevation for Running Rehab
Every plan starts with your mileage, your goals, and the mechanics that led to the breakdown — not a generic protocol off a shelf.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions from runners about running physical therapy
Yes. Whether you're training for your first 5K, working toward a marathon PR, or just trying to stay healthy enough to run regularly, we tailor your program to your mileage, goals, and the specific issues that keep getting in your way.
No referral needed to get started. New Jersey's direct access law allows you to begin physical therapy without a physician referral for up to 30 days or 12 visits. If you need care beyond that window, we'll help coordinate with your doctor.
We use a structured return-to-run progression based on objective benchmarks — not just how you feel. Strength, load tolerance, and movement quality all factor in. You'll know exactly what you've cleared and what's left before your first full training run.
We're cash-based and out-of-network — no visit caps, no pre-authorizations, and no insurance company deciding how many sessions you get. We provide a superbill after each session that you can submit to your insurer for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
In most cases, yes — with smart modifications to volume, intensity, and terrain. We're not in the business of shutting runners down without good reason. We'll protect what needs to heal while keeping you on the road as much as possible throughout the process.
